TGBAA Scholarship
About the Tech Golden Bear Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship
In 2017, the Tech Golden Bear Alumni Association established a scholarship fund to assist West Virginia residents attending WVU Tech who is the relative of a Tech alumnus.
This Endowment shall provide scholarships for West Virginia resident students enrolled in any major at WVU Tech. Recipients shall maintain a GPA of 3.0. First preference shall be for relatives of WVU Tech alumni (child, sibling, grandchild, niece/nephew, cousin) as determined by the WVU Tech student application. The maximum award shall be $1,000 per student each academic year. A student who is a recipient one year is eligible for consideration in any other year provided they continue to meet the selection criteria outlined in the Agreement. Recipients shall be determined by WVU Tech Office of Admissions and Recruitment.
Prospective students don't need to submit a separate application. By completing the application for admission, they will be providing the information needed for their consideration of the scholarship.

“I support the TGBAA Scholarship fund because I am a big believer in giving back. And there's no better way to help fellow Golden Bears than to give to a scholarship program that supports educational opportunities for students already a part of the WVU Tech family. This enables West Virginians to stay in the Mountain State for their education. Please join me in supporting the TGBAA scholarship.”
